Well, before I get into any new updates, I wanted to clean up the site a little bit. I found a few pages that didn’t upload correctly, so I am going through everything to make sure it is complete. I also found that when I upgraded my software, for some reason it changed a lot of the pages to be right justified instead of centered, so I am going into each page and fix that as well.
Since it is the birthday of Nolan Bushnell, the true father of the video game industry (sorry Ralph Baer, but Nolan, Atari, and video games just go hand and hand.. and I guess hand), I started by correcting all the Atari pages in the video game section. Though Nolan did unfortunately unload Chuckie Cheese on the world, he can be forgiven for giving us the Atari 2600 (okay, I was never a really big Pong fan) and giving life to the world of video games. Actually nice that in 2012, on my XBox 360, I can still have a game room filled with Atari 2600 and Intellivision games to play, like back in the day.
Happy birthday Nolan, and more importantly, THANK YOU!!

This all started back in 2006 with four people, who seven years later, still compete…
First off, me… unfortunately the only original to have never won. Depressing, huh? At least this year I am off to a quick start as part of the first place tie.
Next up is Tom, who took both the A & B games in 2008. Currently in a three way tie for second with….
Jacek, who has won four of the past six points games, taking the first one on the last game of the year. Jacek is also in the three way tie with…
Steve, the reigning game A & B champion. Steve has also won the B game (total number of deaths) in 2009 and 2010 as well.
And there is a brief history of the players… game on…

The lists for Michael and Michelle. Michelle comes back for her third year after almost pulling off a comeback in 2011, while Michael returns for his fourth year.
Right now with three lists posted, there is a log jam tie in first due to the passing of Etta James and Joe Paterno..
Up next, not to steal from the New York Yankees, our version of the “core four”…

Just wanted to throw out a quick blurb to say that even though I haven’t posted anything in the blog section, the updates have been on going. I posted the remainder of the New York Yankees spring training schedule, updating the Montreal Canadiens results, and started to add pages about myself, starting with my love of video games…
However…
It is not time for the the seventh dead pool on this site. Starting in 2006, who knew it would be still going today. This would’ve been up a week ago, but my sinus infection had other plans…
I decided to post the selections little by little, rather than post them all at once…
So today, we start with newcomer Chuck G. … Well, he’s new to this, so what can I really say?! Chuck, when you see this, feel free to shoot me a little background if you want and i’ll edit the post… in the meantime, you’re the new guy…
