If I was going to pick a favorite that I would like to see win the World Series, I would pick the Texas Rangers for ONLY one reason…

Endy Chavez was one of my favorite player on the Montreal Expos and I would like to see him get a World Series ring. When I was at the final game at Olympic Stadium and the final ever Expos game a few days later at Shea Stadium, I was there in my Endy Chavez jersey. At that game, I had a foul ball hit in the second to last at bat (forgot by who, Brenden Harris or Ryan Church? I’ll have to go watch the DVD), but let the kids have it… if it was a foul ball from Endy, i’d have squashed those kids in a second..  :)

I updated the side link with the 2012 New York Yankees schedule, as well as what was available for spring training. The Yankees site was still listing the 2011 schedule and the Grapefruit League site looks to only have a small fraction of the games (unless they cut back the number of games from 30 to about 12). Of the 12 listed, 6 where against Philadelphia, which would get boring rather quick.

As soon as the full schedule is available, I will update it.   :)

Today belongs to A.C….

Well, about 15 minutes before kick off and barring any unforseen injuries or problems, today is the day Anthony Calvillo adds one more record to his incredible career. I wish I was watching, but the video will be available on the TSN website later on.

So far this year, Anthony has knocked off two CFL records, passing Damon Allen on the list for most pass completions in his career (5318 and counting) and most career touchdowns (411 and counting).

Today, most passing yards in all professional football is in the crosshairs. Last week he passed the NFL’s Brett Farve (who had 71838 total yards) on the list for second place and right now is only 258 yards behind Damon Allen to taking sole possession of first place (Damon’s record of 72381).

I should’ve stayed home to watch the game live as I know i’m missing out on something big!!
