A rarity for Atari games, the game is strictly two players. There is no one player option with an AI controlled team.

Each touchdown is 7 points. The extra point is given with the touchdown.

Passes can be controlled by the joystick, so its possible to throw passes that zip zag down field.

If you really look at the field, assuming each line is 5 yards wide, the field is only 80 yards and the players are 5 yards each.
