additional comments

Unlike most sports games, NFL Football is actually a 60 minute game.

For a game from 1978, it actually had more than 180 offensive and defensive plays to choose from.

A version of NFL Football was released by M Network for the Atari 2600 under the name “Super Challenge Football”.

A stripped down version (used in the Sharp Shot cartridge) was used by WPIX 11 in NYC as a phone in game during afternoon cartoons.

NFL Football was programmed by Ken Smith and Kevin Miller.

Along with Major League Baseball, this is one of the games that really sold the console.

NFL Football can be found on the Intellivision Lives! CD for PC, XBox, Playstation 2, and GameCube.
