Vectrex was a stand alone system that came out in November 1982. The Vectrex is a vector graphics system that ran on its own 9 inch screen. Some games came with color screen overlays (like the one for Scramble in the picture to the left). Minestorm came as a game programmed into the system. The game would crash after 13 levels, however people who contacted the company were given a fixed version on cartridge called Minestorm 2. Since very few actually contacted the company, this makes Minestorm 2 one of the rarest games for the Vectrex.
